THEME: REMEMBER LOT'S WIFE

Luke 17:32.
Remember lot's wife.
1.To remember Lot's wife is to remember that Lot's wife had a great opportunity to be saved.
Lot and his wife lived in Sodom. Lot's wife had the opportunity to avoid death and to live with a righteous man. Salvation came to the house of Lot that day just as salvation is coming to your house today.
Genesis 19:15-16
.....Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
2. When God gives you STATUS never become a STATUE in Gods house.
Gen.19:26.
But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
Sodom represents the world and Lot's wife could not help turning back to look at what she loved. Her heart was in Sodom that's why she looked back.
3. To remember Lot's wife is to remember how God has sent people to help you and to minister to you
God sent angels to help Lot and his wife to come out Sodom.
Genesis 19:1
......and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
4.To remember Lot's wife is to remember that you must forsake the sins of this world.
Lot's wife did not forsake Sodom. The sins of Sodom were pride, fullness of bread and abundance of idleness. That is why God sent judgement to Sodom.
Ezekiel 16:49-50
