Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever.
1. Jesus Christ is the same: Even though men change so much Jesus Christ never changes. He is the same today and forever.
When you grow old you change so much that even children are afraid of you. If Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever then He is certainly not a man because He never changes.
Human beings change so much when they die. They are simply not the the same that is why we agree to bury our loved ones away and out of our sight forever. But Jesus Christ does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever
2. Jesus Christ is the same: Jesus Christ is still DOING the same things that He used to do......(Heb.7:23-25)
If Jesus is STILL PRAYING for us then what are you waiting for....Why are you not Praying , why are you not Paying Tithe, Why are you not winning souls for CHRIST, why are you not having your quiet Time anymore, Why have you STOP reading the WORD.
God has not changed and therefore His words have not changed, the things He does have not change and His expectations of us have not changed.
3. Jesus Christ is the same: Jesus Christ is still HEALING.
a. JESUS IS THE HEALER OF THE BLIND.
- As He healed blind Bartemaeus (Mark 10:46-52)
b. JESUS IS THE HEALER OF WOMEN WITH GYNECOLOGICAL PROBLEMS
- As He healed the woman with the issue of blood. (Mark 5:25-34)
c. JESUS IS THE HEALER OF MAD MEN
- As He healed the man of Gadara. (Mark 5:1-16)
d. JESUS IS THE HEALER OF THE PARALYZED.
- Just as He healed the paralytic who was led down the roof (Mark 2:1-12)
e. JESUS IS THE HEALER OF THE DEAF AND DUMB
- As He healed the dumb man(Matthew 9:32-33)
f. JESUS IS THE HEALER OF LONG-STANDING ILLNESSES
- As He healed the woman who had been bent over for eighteen years (Luke 13:11-17)
