"We are going to go into a NEW Ghana";says Nana Addo


The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo held a rally in the Upper West region as he continues his campaign tour of the country.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo plead to the electorates of Upper West region to vote for change in coming December 7th election. He made this plea at the party rally at Upper West region,Wa, Tindamba JHS school park.
Nana Addo promised never to disappoint the people of upper West and Ghana as a whole if they put their trust in him.

He said “two weeks today, exactly two weeks today, we the people of Ghana will have the opportunity to create a new path for ourselves and leave behind stagnate and backwardness and have a road of progress and prosperity.”

He ensured the electorates that, “we are going to go into a new Ghana. A Ghana where the National Health Insurance Scheme work, for all the people of our country.Where your card entitles you to decent and affordable health care.”

“We are fighting for a Ghana where every child will get the opportunity to go to school and it is not going to be a burden of the parents. That is to say, Free Senior High School education is going to happen under the NPP government.”

He also made a lot of emphasis on adult education, that, to those who are grown up and for some reasons didn’t get the opportunity to go to school, they are going to revive the adult education programme to make it possible also for them to get education.

He also noted that, he and his NPP government, will create the opportunity for a year round farming because they are going to take serious in the development of irrigation through the "one village one dam" policies to make irrigation agriculture possible. He made it clear to the people that, if they are doing it in Burkina Faso, why can’t we do it here in Ghana and in Upper West.


He ensure farmers that they are going to actively support the work of our farmers with extension service, credits, new seeding which are going to be supply by the ministry of agriculture.  And also with the one district one factory policy is also going to help and boost agriculture activities in the country since the industries will serves as a ready market for the agricultural produce.

In Nana Adoo’s address, he said “every constituency of the 275 with 11 in the Upper West is going to receive every year equivalent of 1 million US dollars to deal with the issue of sanitation to ensure Ghana moving.

In addition to his promises, he said he and his government are going to restore in full the payment of teacher trainee and nurse’s allowances.
The presidential candidate of the opposition party NPP commended the people Upper West region for their support and reminded them of the need to let it reflect on the ballot on December 7.
