AshantiGold player boycott training over unpaid bonuses and signing on fees



AshantiGold players boycotted training on Thursday ahead of their trip to Dormaa to face title contenders Aduana Stars on Sunday, GHANASoccernet.com can reveal.

The players took this action to show their displeasure to management of their owed winning bonuses and signing on fees.

Both new and old players were involved in the training boycott.

Management meet on Thursday and is finding means of settling the matter on Friday to get them back to work.

AshantiGold have showed tremendous improvement in the second half of the season with just one defeat in ten matches.
